I have absolutely no experience with a matte helmet. But on my dyna, which is flat black, water with a touch of dish soap and a soft rag does the trick.

I have the same helmet and same issue, sorry I have no solution I just ignore the oily marks, I suspect soapy water should do it some justice though.

Dish soap and warm water would do fine as the soap has a mild de-greaser in it, just avoid using polish as these have cutting agents built in and will cut into the fine top coat (lacquer)

rdavid8 I have the same exact helmet. I use Clean All. Just spray it all over the helmet, including the visor. Let it sit for a moment or two and wipe off well. It has cleaned everything off my helmet in the last two months, plus once you use it, it is easier to clean afterward. It even leaves your visor so clean that I swear nothing is there sometimes, with no streak marks. It does nothing to the matte finish either.
