Hi - just sneaked over from the classic bike section - building a Triumph T140 based special and considering using Hinckley Master cylinders for the brakes - what is the bore on the front and rear master cylinders ? I need to match them to the calipers i will be using
(twin Grimeca front - single rear)
-- would the street triple have the same sizes ?
thanks

Hi - DEcosse - that makes sense - done some research on the best sizes to match my calipers - for the front master cylinder the ideal bore size would be 16 mm or 5/8 inch -- for the rear 11 or 12 mm -- would prefer to use Triumph parts - so if anyone could suggest a suitable model i would be grateful
thanks - Wol

They are just generic Nissin parts anyway - 14mm conventional up to serial number 333178 and then Radial after that
A common upgrade on the conventional was to fit a Nissin 5/8 from a Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki etc

If it was me, and you have choices, for front I would use an OEM Brembo Radial Master from either a Yamaha or Ducati/Aprilia etc
The R1/R6 masters are 16mm

Rear master on a Speed Triple is 1/2" which is closest one off S3 you will get to that.
