Check engine light, code P1108

I have recently purchased a nearly new 2008 speed triple. She has been great so far but I wanted to go through her myself just to make sure she's squared away. So I went ahead and pulled the tank and checked and cleaned the air box. Thankfully I did because it had a rats nest in it. I went ahead and inspected everything and it looked good and started reassemble. hooked up everything (I believe). well next morning I go to fire her up to take her to work and a check engine light pops on. Later that night I run the code and it comes up with P1108 which from what I googled is Ambient air. So where do I go now? What is this? Where is this sensor? I've rode it and nothing has changed, it rides fine but I would like to get it addressed.
Thanks, nick.

Did you turn the bike on with any sensors unplugged? That will give a code but it will clear after 3 heat up/cool down cycles with no errors. We also just had someone recently who swapped a couple of connectors so you could check that. I labeled all of mine when I disconnected them the first time so I know they are back in the right spot. It is seems to be related to the barometric pressure sensor. Any wires that might have been chewed through?

Per the factory manual, P1108 is "Ambient Air Pressure Sensor Circuit High Voltage"

I attached the troubleshooting page, but make sure you didn't swap any of the sensors or wires when reassembling.

The sensor should be mounted near the rear mud guard. Also, if you did remove it, make sure it is mounted in the right orientation, if it's flipped, it could give you an error I think.

I have found it and but its fully clipped in and fine. However I did find one that's up and on the back size of the airbox that's zip tied. It's a grey clip that's running loose with nothing attached to it. I do not know if it has anything to do with it or not.

That is probably for the evap canister. If you do not have a CA model with the charcoal canister that does not go to anything since there is no purge valve/solenoid. It is possible the sensor could have just gone bad, but see if you can follow the wires to make sure they weren't damaged or anything, or try the pinpoint tests listed to make sure that everything to see if that can help narrow down the issue.

I had the same problem, the light turned off but the OBD stil gives me the P1180 error.
For other reasons I had to remove the battery, and I think that's what caused the check engine light to turn on. After some hot-cold cycles the light turned off but, as I said, the OBD still gives that P1180 error.

Is that only some kind of "memory" that can be cleared with the iPhone app or is there still something wrong?
