New Bonneville wants to charge me 30.00 for these bolts. Anyone have any other ideas?

Why not just get OEM Daytona clamps (which don't have the mirror posts) & not have a filler at all?

The shells are only ~ $10 apiece - may not be a whole lot cheaper but will certainly look much neater than just a bolt filling the hole.

Contact this ebay seller:

http://stores.ebay.com/DiscBrakeAdapters

What you want are his 'FAT BOLTS' M10 x 1.25, not the 'FAT BOLTS - GIANT' which are a different thread pitch. For some reason he does not show them at the moment but I have bought from him twice.

They are actually black and nicely CNC'd from 6061 aluminum. Much cheaper than the New Bonneville bolts. You can go to any hardware store and get a standard M10 x 1.25 bolt. On the left you can turn the clamp upside down.

I got mine from these guys:

http://stores.ebay.com/Toronto-Cycles

Search their store for "M10 Brake Boss Plugs 1.25"

I got the black ones for around $10 with shipping and they fit great - like they were meant to be on the bike.

Mine arrived in the silver color, as the image suggests. Possibly something changed?

Forget the super cool neat and classy looking stuff from New Bonneville. Save some really big bucks and get some black Elmers Glue and smear in all over the holes -cheap and it looks good too.

When I was living in Jax, a guy gave me some bolts that I got from a bike shop, he said that he only paid a few dollars for them.
