The tunes are not actually 'Tuneboy tunes', those are the OEM Triumph tune ID's. Tuneboy conveniently hosts them all so you can conveniently access them if you have the Tuneboy tool to load them onto your bike.

For the tunes you listed by number, for example 20182 is described as " 1050 Speed Triple with Arrow pipe; Without secondary air injection; From VIN 305060 (Steel fuel tank) Which is exact same descriptor as the 20209 file!
(20209 is obviously a later tune - has it replaced 20182 as the 'std' option?) Might need to ask dealer about that.

How do I check whether my ECU has been retuned?
I have recently had some Arrow Slip ons fitted by a Triumph dealer - sound sweet.

Anyway, whether the baffles are in or out, the engine doesn't seem as powerful as it was, especially top end (this maybe my imagination thou).

1. Is there a simple way I can confirm whether the engine has been retune or is it something the dealer needs to confirm?

2. Also, I assume that any retune will optimise the performance whether the baffles are in or out?

You need TuneBoy or dealer tool to check current ECU tune.

No "race" tunes for the baffles-in, except for the stock one your bike came with.
I'd take baffles out and have dealer upload TOR or Arrow full system tune.

The whole thing is much simpler than a proper custom tune for your individual bike. The dealer just has a handfull of factory provided fuel & ignition maps and they pick the closest match for your bike configuration.

Cheers for your reply - Just making sure I understand - with the baffles in, it doesn't need to be retuned (the standard stock tune is ok) but with the baffles out, to get the optimum performance it should be retuned.

Yes, that's my take. The Arrow duals with noisekillers in are closer to stock cans than to any performance mufflers -> the stock tune is the closest match. That is assuming the factory has not produced a new ECU tune, that is specificly made for the Arrow duals. I have not seen such a tune.

With the noisekillers out the cans become like any other straight through aftermarket cans and then the TOR map would be the official choice. Many have also had good results on using the Arrow full system tune with just a muffler change.

OK, I'm confused now after reading through this thread. I recently bought an '07 new, and it has VIN 289***. It seems to have the '07 ECU (makes fax machine noises after shutoff), but it has the O2 sensor threaded in next to the oil filter. Is this an '06 or '07 exhaust? It has the big bulky heat shield at the back where it splits back into 2 pipes, like the '08s, but I don't know if the earlier years had that, too. Just trying to figure out which model year exhaust to order from.

Will the Arrow 3-1 full system work on all model years? Which O2 sensor location is the bung welded for on that system? Thanks for the help.

Bulky heatshield = you have an 07+ exhaust config.

Thanks for the replies. So does this affect the fitment of the Arrow 3 into 1 system? Would my O2 sensor location require cutting and lengthening wires to mount it into the Arrow system? Again, mine is right next to the oil filter. Thanks.
