Wow, I've never seen a 17th century organ fitted to a bike before...

I'll post some pictures as soon as the wetter here gets a little better it has been raining and snowing here for last ten days

As for the size of the exhaust goes.. I think the length is pretty much the same as standard exhaust they look a little sllimer from side, there is no more heat sheald so it might just be optical.
The clearance from passenger footpegs looks the same as standard.

I'll post some pictures as soon as I get the chance to make some ...

@Dante: Where did you get them?

In Switzerland they are not available and it is still unknown, whether they ever will be (because of homologation special even though they are "E" marked). Oh well...

Anyway, I decided that I want a set of those and spoke to some online- dealers. In Germany I couldn't find them; I actually found one in the US but I doubt he has them in stock...

Thanks.

Happy crashes,
Torino

@Torino: I bought them in Austria at Triumph dealer.
I've ordered them in January but they become available for delivery on 14. of march, they are homologated for use in EU.

Here is the link of the dealer wher I got them:

Same story here in Finland too. The local Triumph shop says they cannot order these yet as the Triumph dealer system does not show the product.

Dante, are the cans symmetrical? I'd like to remove the riveted Arrow sign and switch the cans around so that the left-behind rivet holes are facing inwards.

@Dante: Thank you for the link. Yupp, I know they are homologated in the EU (but unfortunately, Switzerland is not part of the EU... yet...).

Many thanks again.

@Martin_R

I think the cans are symmetrical yes.. at least by the look

But there is a small hook for a spring on the inner side of the pipe where it gets connected to the half pipe.
I didn't have to use it with the standard half pipe though, I belive it is there for the after market half pipe.

There are also two inserts which are used between standard half pipe and both exhausts, to get a smaller standard pipe diameter to fit the bigger one on the can.

There isn't mentioned anywhere that an Arrow aftermarket half pipe can be used with this cans, but I think it just might work.

@Torino
I hope they soon become available - 'legal' at your market too

regards,
D.

That is interesting info. The Arrow midpipe would get rid of the stock chrome shields and ugly clamp connection, which would be a definite plus.

Seems that the midpipe is relatively cheap, compared to the actual cans. I might just buy it and see if it'll fit or not. Once I get hold of the actual cans, that is.
