yes sir. it ran right with the baffles in but when i took them out it had some issues.
they did a modified TORS tune to it (the guy at my shop has the same bike with the same Arrow slip ons) and it runs like a champ now....
In fact it seemed to smooth the sound out when it was tuned properly for the pipe.

has anyone seen the 3 can system pictured from GPR? I can't seem to find it on their website. Would like to know cost, where to buy, etc. Thank you.

Ok, quick question and I know it boils down to preference. Just trying to get a lil feedback. On a 2008 s3 if you had to choose between the arrow high mount duals, devil, or jardine which system would you pick and why?

Arrow duals. Because they are very light, there is an Arrow midpipe (also very light) available for these and they have easily removable noisekiller baffles for tightassed countries.
Also the finish on Arrows is the most professional looking to my eye, they do not look so much like tuna cans as some of the competition.

Performance wise they are all straight through cans, so performance is the same.

anyone know if the arrow header can be used with slip ons or half systems? reason i ask is the speedy im picking up has an arrow full system, i just hate the single, low mount can. gimme dual high mounts any day!!

07' Speed Triple Leo Vince Exhaust

I just installed a new Leo Vince SBK slip-on and thought I should share how it turned out.

Installation instructions were supposedly specific for the 07 Speed Triple, and the diagrammatic renderings looked accurate, but the bracket and screw supplied with the pipe would not fit on the location as shown in the instructions. It conflicted with the swingarm and brake light spring. I ended up having to cut down the bracket, re-drill a hole, and buy a longer button head hex screw and replace one of the screws that hold the heel guard to the right rearset. Using the longer screw I attached the bracket to the exposed inside threads. It now looks (awesome) as though it was supposed to be that way, and it is securely mounted.

I have no data on HP or torque figures, but it feels somewhat stronger on the top end, and sounds really good even though louder than I expected even whith the restricter in place. I was pulled over last weekend (this bike really is trouble) and the cop did a decible test as a courtesy since I told him the pipe is supposed to meet Euro standards which are more stringent than in the USA(?). It posted 86 at idle (legal limit is supposed to be 82, he didn't write me up for that).

Anyone have any info on airbox mods or ECM changes that may help with performance improvement? One of the reasons I went with the Leo Vince pipe is because it is supposed to be a straight bolt-on without any tuning changes necessary. However, the PETA insert (restricter?) is removable which would allow a lot more flow (noise) but I'm sure some changes to fuel delivery and airbox restriction will be necessary.

My understanding is that Dynojet does not have a Power Commander available for this bike. The dealer told me that the stock ECM that came with the bike has 3 settings already programmed as follows:
1. stock pipe
2. Arrow dual slip-ons
3. Arrow full 3-into-1 system

Any other pipe can have negative overall affects on performance.

Thats all I know for now. Feedback would be appreciated.

OK. Let's keep this short:
1) Forget Powercommander, it is a poor solution for Triumphs. If you need custom tune you can purchase Tuneboy which enables your dyno shop to modify tune in your bike's ECU direct. No need for Powercommander piggyback ****. But in your case, you don't need either.
2) The ECU only has 1 tune in it. The dealer has a bunch of factory supplied tune files that he can upload to your bike for a fee in the ballpark of 20$.
3) Remove all restrictors from your can. If it is a lowmount, go to your dealer and ask to upload "Arrow tune". If it is a high mount dual can setup, ask to upload "TOR tune".

Job jobbed and no worry of running lean as the TOR and Arrow maps run a bit richer. TOR tune has more grunt down low and is a bit richer on fueling. Arrow map has more aggressive ignition timing, runs a bit weaker down low, but has more power up top. On some setups the Arrow map might result on pinging, if this happens just go back to dealer and revert to TOR tune.

Arrow Slip Ons

I see that everyone keeps refering to a mid-pipe made by arrow that will work with the dual arrow slipons for the 08 model. If this is true how much more does the mid-pipe ad to the cost of the $900 slipons and where can I get it?
