Yes and No. I was wearing full face helmet, fingerless gloves, Leather Jacket with ce armour in elbows & shoulders with a back pad, leather boots, and my Casual dress "Docker" pants with fat guy elastic waist.

The radiator and my left knee made contact with the guys rear bumper resulting in the wound you see in the picture on my previous post. As soon as I hit I knew it was bad, but didn't realize how bad until I coasted to a stop and got off the bike. I pulled the torn fabric of my pants away to reveal something from a B rate horror film. I almost passed out right there.

Luckily the wound was all flesh with no structural damage to the knee.
