My 2005 Speed Triple has been held hostage at the Manhattan location from June 7th to today (July 2nd). They are TERRIBLE about communicating with their customers. What is worse, is they enjoy taking vacations without posting the dates that they will be away. I cannot even get my bike out of the shop, even though they state that they are open today...

Why am I not surprised...
Even though it looks good (granted, they have a beautiful showroom), it is a bad dealership.
Don't even think about servicing your bike over there, it takes weeks to get an appointment (during the riding season at least), and weeks apparently to get the bike back. I'm curious though, what happened to your '05 for it to be held hostage like that?
Don't even think about getting a good otd quote neither at this dealership. I'm glad I shopped around for my Speed Triple, it enabled me to save more than $1,000.

Is that service shop managed by a **** with the initials of BS?
He used to be at Trebour, and I think he was in charge when Joe R went on vacation. Unfortunately...that's when I brought my Tiger in for 12k service. I got the bike back and it was a total mess!!!
After a disappointing discussion with BS on the subject, I decided to never visit that shop ever again.
Seems like where ever BS goes, so does the ****.
Bill, you are an arse! I'll never forget our discussion you ****

BS, correct. Had my disappointing discussion with him too (he sold the bike I had put a deposit on to someone else), and decided to never vist "his" shop ever again.

Yes, BS...I think that stands for Bill Shelton. He was the one who convinced me that I should be buying my bikes from E-bay and that Triumph Service is the most RUDE organization pawing motorcycles, and never to expect any satisfaction when you leave your bike in for service.
It's amazing that someone like him can hold down a service job. But then Triumph likes it when people say 'yes', and really mean 'no'. In other words, BS.
(no thanks, I'll do my own work these days)

I'm not sure where you live, but I have been dealing with Freehold Honda/Triumph in NJ for around 10 years now. It's a great dealership from service to sales to parts. You should consider them if you feel they are close enough to you.
