I've recently purchased a 07 Speed Triple. Is the performance gain with Arrow exhaust worth the money ?

Well, lets say for the sake of argument you get a 4HP bump. I don't have before & after numbers on mine, so that's just a guess. You can spend anywhere from $1150 to over $1600 to get that. On a per pony basis that's a lot to spend, so you have to take other things into consideration (appearance, sound, weight reduction, etc).

I would say that it won't make much of a noticeable difference while you are riding. It may sound better, but the small gain in power and drop in weight is only worth it if you have the money for it. If you have to turn tricks or make a deposit of man seed to the bank to get the funds then I would say no. But it does look ****.

I've read some posts here saying they are actually pretty quiet. one person said his seemed more quiet than stock. Although I also read you can modify it to be louder somehow..
I think you'd be buying it more for the looks, with a slight performance upgrade. Minimal sound improvement without messing with it.
plus the $1600 price mentioned earlier is about right, after they tune your bike for you.

I don't think it's any louder than stock but I haven't measured that either. I did mine myself and thanks to ol' CB, I got it for a penny under $1100 shipped plus 1/2 hour labor for the Arrow tune at the dealer.

a 5 - 10 HP gain depending on tune + some pounds (15?) less!

For that kind of money, you could get another aftermarket exhaust (CRM, M4, Mivv) and still have money left over for a better air filter, a Tuneboy or Power Commander, plus dyno time, and end up with a very noticeable bump in power.

couldn't have said it better myself R100. I gained 12hp with a slipon and Tuneboy tune. Dyno proven on the same day, same dyno. :-D Even if I would have paid full retail for my stuff(which we all know that didn't happen  ), I would have less than a grand in 12hp. Let's just say I came out much cheaper than that. :-D I can't recommend Tuneboy enough. IMHO, a full exhaust system for speedy is a waste of $ if you think it is for performance. You can get the same results, if not better with only a slipon and proper tune. :-D

I have one, and what really drove me to it was the look... love the clean look of the lower pipe and it fits to perfection with the rest of the bike.. It was on the bike when I bought it so I was able to get 15% off MSRP plus a minimal charge for installation...
love the sound too..
no regrets... not other aftermarket can come close to it... IMO

cheers
