Is Tuneboy simply a software package that remaps the stock ECU? Or does it come with a ECU replacement too?

Thanks again you guys have been great,

Eric

Tuneboy is a USB cable, some Windows software, and a license key that is tied to one ECU. It allows you to read, and or reprogram the ECU to which it is licensed. Additional licenses can be purchased but it only comes with one out of the box.

Hope that helps.

Another nice feature is the diganostic program. You can read all the Sensors on the bike and do some test functions.
You can download the software directly off the site at no charge - at least it will give you a feel for what it looks like. You obviously just can't plug it into the bike without a cable & license & utilize it for real.

Thanks guys. I think that is the route I will take when I am ready for a new map. Does Tuneboy have downloadable maps and are they any good? I think I also read something about it is able to read PowerCommander maps. Can anyone confirm that?
