Hey it takes the dirt off but it also leaves stains on the plastic hose, etc..

I spray it off good but it still leaves residue.

what's better?

Motorex Protect & Shine 645

Wash/dry bike, then apply (like S100) and then polish. Gives good protection, and unlike S100,***** doesn't stick...

I use S100 on all my bikes, for the occasional "deep" cleaning, and I haven't noticed what you're experiencing. A few things I do...which may or may not be different:

1. Don't leave it sit for long. I spray it on, then use a damp sponge to wipe and rub (good for getting more coverage out of less cleaner). Then I spray if off, before it has a chance to dry (this is important, so have the hose ready).

2. Waste a lot of water hosing it off. Sh*t seems very caustic, which is why it works so well, so I make sure I rinse and rinse...and rinse some more.

3. I try not to let it sit and dry. After rinsing, I'll take a few clean towels, rubbing down the bike to get a lot of the water, and then I go for a ride to blow dry the rest.

I finish up with Honda Polish or Plexus, for a nice shine. Same goes for frequent cleanings...Honda Polish or Plexus, as S100 is a bit expensive, not to mention time consuming.
