Well, I'm fixin' to have lunch with The Redhead at this li'l Mexican place, so the air will be polluted way before the llamas arrive NEXT WEEK
But yeah, I've been goin' back an' forth about the whole exhaust thing. I like the TORS, but every time I see one o' the low-mounts I drool. So I figured with the money I'd save on napkins, I might as well git me one. The Zard was out, on accounta it looks like somethin'

would use as a prop in her video. Bucket's gizmo is cool, but he's in upside downland an' llamas don't swim.
It sorta came down to the M4 or... I like the carbon fiber, but the M4 sits a little too close to the peg for me (I remember my heel hittin' the can on a Tuono recently). Also, the endcap is funny lookin'. An' besides, plenty o' folks have 'em.
So I finally, after ONLY three months or so of ponderin', pulled the trigger onna ol' squidpipe. Of course, I did so right when the Ol' Guy Himself ran outta cans an' wound up backordered, so it's been a few weeks now. Then, wouldn't ya know it, the llamas din't pick up their cargo until yesterday. But I finally have a tracking number and can't wait to git my hands on the gizmo.
I'm interested to see what the Squid-o-Phone is like compared to the TORS. I'm thinkin' that while it's a shorter run, all the gas has to exit one pipe, so maybe there's not that much difference in flow from, say, the dualsquids. Beats me. What I _am_ lookin' forward to is the weight savings. Shipping weight is FIVE POUNDS. And in addition to weight lost, it'll be lost from On High. My only reservations regard heel clearance - which, looking at the pictures, shouldn't be an issue - and whether the mounting contrivance is solid enough (trustin' The Man on this one). Everybody else is happy with 'em so far, so once I git 'em, I'll add my two bits.
There may be a Tuneboy or PC in the future too (y'know, I'm not that far from Bama), but first I'm gonna blow some disposable income on track daze.
