I love the Arrow 3 into 1 system....looks awesome, the weight savings is huge.....but it's not loud enough. I drove a stock triple today (first time) and it was actually louder up until 6,000 RPMS. Weird. The growl you get above 6,000 RPMs is barely noticeable in stock form and that's where the arrow shines (sounds like a totally different bike). Sounds great above 6,000 and like a sewing machine below. On a side note, the weight difference IS noticeable, big time.

Anyway, just dropped my bike off and they are going to take the exhaust apart to find the baffle (someone somewhere said it's in the header) and attempt to remove it. Maybe they can, maybe they can't. One things for sure though, I will let you guys know either way the outcome.

Wish me luck!!!!

Steve

I thought the Arrow was a full race system, that is - no baffle ?

Yea Andy I believe it is an open system, but has somthing that deadens the sound similar to a glass pack on a car.
My impressions of the Arrow that it was loud, but my hearing is normal. LOL

The Arrow has no baffle in the header. The baffle is in the collector and it does not restrict any exhaust, the cone is the same ID as the pipe, it just lowers the harmonics of the exhaust note. It is a Race exhaust which has to be legal at certain db's that tracks require.
