Speed triple won't start

I need help! My 95 speed triple won't start hot. I thought it was the pick-up coil but now I have realized that it thinks it is in gear. It will only crank with the clutch in. Hasd anyone else encountered this? Where is the neutral switch located?

You've got a T300 Speed Triple. I'd try in the T300 forum. Lots of riders there have had a similar problem.
