So finally I decided to go without the carbon fiber stuff and the Arrow 3-1 system, i.e. the so-called Special Edition S3.

Instead, I'm leaning towards a rather minimalistic black S3 with what I call first necessity mods/accessories:

- LED Taillight / Turn Signal Combo + Skyking Fender Eliminator Kit
- CRG Bar End Mirrors
- Rear Hugger
- Black heel guards
- Black rad cowls
- Pazzo Racing Lever Set
- Seat Cowl
- Tank pad
- Tank bag

And I'm broke, but hopefully I'm happy.

Will soon follow:
- Corbin seat
- Groovy Chain Reaction pipes when they're available for the '07s.
- Flush Mount Signals

Can't really think of anything else. Frame sliders maybe? Radiator and Oil Cooler Guards? (Can't find pretty ones)

The idea is to keep it simple.

It's all what you want. I just ordered Skyking sliders for some peace of mind, and CRG's so I can hopefully see without moving my elbows.

I do have on order with the free accessories:
Carbon hugger (needed as I ride in all weather)
seat cowl
Fly screen ( to see if it helps with wind at all)

Yes indeed!
If you have other pics, feel free to send them to me. (karlmax@hotmail.com)

What did you blacken exactly? Fork, Nissin's, pipes? Is it simple to do that?

Love it.

for your black heal guards may I recommend

http://www.newspeed3.com/html/aluminum_heel_guards.html

everyone has the Triumph ones, + these disappear visually. The Triumph ones still stick out like some sort of snaggle toothed biach (visually)

++ the ones from newspeed3 look cooler for almost 1/2 the price and you can be a lil different

edit:: I can't help but throw my 2 cents in here about rear huggers. Everyone is always recomending them. now for protecting the underside of your bike from rocks and stuff they are great. but if you think a hugger is going to keep the shock and stuff clean you're in for a suprise. if it rains dirty water will go all over the underside of your bike Hugger or no hugger!
