Looking for the MotoGP on Speedvision - it doesn't seem to be listed!
They have the 250 at 2pm PDT - the 'big' boys usually follow right after but they have AMA Motocross at 3.

Edit: Never mind - it's on CBS at 10:30am PDT :-D

Yes, and keep an eye out for Assen and one other, not sure which, also on CBS. I'm a bit worried, they are quoted as saying they will have 'local talent' or some such doing the commentary. Couldn't be worse than Ralph Shaheen, but it's a worry. Schwantz also talking, so he should be OK, but otherwise......... May have to watch without the sound.
Cheers

Good to see that you guys are such MotoGP fans. I try to watch every meeting live on Fox, but we sometimes need to stay up or wake up after midnight to see delayed coverage on commercial tv. Tonight is one of those nights...alarm set for 12.40am. Well worth that small sacrifice for such entertainment. I watch all 3 classes, because the competition is so fierce and the skill outstanding. I have been following Rossi since his early 125cc days. The guy is a living legend.

The coverage is not that great over here - we get a an hour show that is not live and a ton of commercials that give you about 40 mins net.
When I'm in the UK it is treat to get 1-1/2hr uniterrupted live show with much more background coverage & interviews etc.

I have thought about subscribing to the new MotoGP internet video package on motogp.com. They now have a high-speed version available.
You can get the races live.

Yes, we get all the races but sometimes we have to wait a couple of days, which means i can't read all my Moto websites until I've watched the recording or when they finally show the races.
The exception is Laguna Seca, but then we have to put up with some local wankers doing the commentary, but at least they show practice and the race - I even saw Pedrosa smile and be a real person last year, when the camera caught him walking to his pit and they chatted with him. It was a very pleasant surprise, as he's such a po-faced little bloke on the podium.
Maybe we should ask for a 'Racing' section for the forum?
Cheers
Barry

so it was nice having the race on CBS, but i wish we could have kept the old announcers. american announcers are just awful. and what an amazing race it was! it was like a 250 race for the lead.

An absolutely great race today, although it was the flattest anouncing I've ever heard. The other CBS broadcasts are from Assen and Laguna Seca.

Screw CBS as far as Laguna Seca goes - I'll be there! :-D
OK - maybe I'll TIVO it for when I get home to get the action on the rest of the track.

Good race today - closest racing finish yet in that group of three.

I'm with y'all on the announcing. I was hoping that with Kevin Schwantz on board, it would be more interesting, more insightful, but it sounded like he was reading cue cards the whole time. Jeez.

They sounded like a pair of golf announcers, fer chrissakes - and this perhaps the best race of the year so far. Really amazing stuff. I was only disappointed that Hopkins didn't make the podium.

being competitive.
does anyone know about the Duc gp engine. is it
a 4 cylinder?
also does anyone know why they dropped the
dislacement rules down to 800cc?
sorry for the stupid questions, i work on sundays
so i've never really followed gp (other than knowing
who Rossi is)
i just got myself a dvr cable box so now i can
come home and watch the races
