Just put one on, no change in air filter and no change in tune. I get a lot of backfires when shutting down the throttle, scares the willies out of me.
Although its uk road legal, it is a straght through pipe.
So should I move to a less restrictive air filter and/or the off road tune to reduce the backfires?
your thoughts gratefully appreciated.

Just get the TOR tune and it will solve your problems. Be careful now or you will foul your spark plugs. Let the bike warm all the way up before shutting it down.

A piece of duct tape over the SAI inlet in the air box will solve all back fire problems regardless of tune or pipe. However, you probably should change your tune although I have no first hand experience with the Remus.

just did my annual service....
7100 miles or so, arrow carbys....
replaced the TORS tune with current triumph aftermarket pipe tune....
tune number 20133...
VERY happy with it....
seat of the pants, SEEMS smoother off idle, ZERO holes anywhere
in the rev range....
just pulls and pulls and then pulls some more...
and none of the harshness/ sharp response off idle...
try it.....
