How long did you have to wait to get in accessories from your dealer?

This question is a lot like "how much do you pay for insurance"...it varies so widely there's no way any number of answers will tell you anything about what you can expect.

I've been fortunate to have dealers who order from Triumph (and their other vendors) at least once a week. Some dealers don't do that, but wait until they have a certain amount to get a break on costs by having just one large shipment.

Once they place the order, not every accessory will necessarily be in stock at the warehouse. Most of what I've ordered has been at my dealers' shops in a couple of days to one week--but the hugger for my Speed Triple took a year, because Triumph discovered the original design could melt (!) and it took a while to re-design and manufacture the new part.

The last couple months of that delay was because, once the hugger finally arrived in the shop, the parts guy had forgotten why it was ordered in the first place and put it out on the rack as general merchandise.

So, my personal answer is: two days to one year. The moral here is not that your mileage may vary, but that it WILL vary. There is no simple rule of thumb. You can get a rough general idea, though, by asking other customers of your own particular dealership what their ordering experience has been at that location. But I bet even those answers will vary quite a bit.

I understand that sometimes parts may not be available or in at the warehouse, I just wondered because I am not sure that my dealer is, well, I guess I will have to wait and see.

+1 to Diego.

And, no matter how long it takes, it's too long!

I ordered mine from the same place you did and he keeps telling me to call back tomorrow.
I ordered them probably about 3 weeks ago as part of the $600 accessory deal. Just called the fat dude and told me to call back later.

You've been waiting for 3 weeks????
I have been about 2 weeks.

If I was you I would call Triumph, tell them what you ordered and tell them you don't trust this guy and there is another unsatisfied customer will be calling them too, with a lot more complaints..

The mechanic found that the right front reflector was twisted and he took it off and said they would ship another one to me..

I asked big boy where is it? he said I don't know anything about it.

That big boy is a piece of work. Even when I was buying the bike and giving him 10K he acted like I was doing HIM the favour.
No personality, zero people skills and how about plain downright rude?

Did you end up doing the first service yourself?

I would call Triumph, tell them the accessories you ordered, and ask is there any problem with delivery.

He did not order a tank bag and a white flyscreen as part of the deal when I bought the bike.. I waited over 3 weeks, then I found out the $600 deal was extended, he never told me about it untill I read it here..
When I asked him he said oh yeah,, you can get the deal..

Yeah right,, he has really pissed me off.
