Putting the high-mount on required the removal of the pillion peg on the right side. I'd still like to have a passenger when the opportunity presents itself. Any kits available to put the peg back on?

Yes. I bought my '02 with the high can already installed. It has a spacer that I believe is a factory accessory (call your dealer). Also, here are some on SkyKing, but they say 1997-2002. I'd send them an email and ask if it fits the '04.

you will have to get a pre-02 hanger for the pipe, the 03-later has different "recesses" that prevent the spacers from fitting properly. Even with the older hanger the peg still rubbed the can. I ended up making my own spacers from aluminum round stock. If you have access to a machine shop its a piece of cake on the lathe and you can make them the right length (and probly work with the 04 hanger).
