would an extended warranty for $700.00 be money well spent or just a waste?

I always purchase extended warranties. They've saved my bacon twice, one of which involved a new engine for a Honda 954. They're worth it IMHO even if nothing goes wrong with the bike. It's just another insurance policy.

I'd do it. That only comes out to $175 a year, I'd say that's definetely worth it.

Are you sure it increases the Triumph warranty by 4 years, or just extends it TO 4 years?

On that note, if it increases to a total of 6 years... and is a triumph product, any dealers sell this at a discount? With my mercedes, the dealer wanted something like $1900 to extend from four years to seven. The same plan sold third-party (still an MB USA plan, not a generic one) was $1,300.

Anyone have an answer to this extended warranty question? Does it extend the existing two-year Triumph warranty BY 4 years to 6 years, or does it simply extend the 2-year TO 4 years?
