Hey Stampy, or anyone, what does the Ventura light guard look like for the S3? I understand it's a 1 piece unit?
Do you have any pix? Ta. :upthumb:

Hey,
Got a set for my 2005 S3. It's held on via velcro strips.

Easy to install. But it's one piece per light. I'll snap a picture and post it as soon as I can.

3M makes an adhesive clear film 40mil thick specifically for protecting headlights. Any tinting shop that also does the 3M car hood film should carry it. It comes in a 12" wide strip, my local shop sold me a 6" long chunk for $10 (enough for 2 5 1/4" headlights).

1.5 yrs ago I got a rock in my LHS headlight. The dealer wanted $100 for a replacement lens. I ebayed one from the EU for $35 including shipping--bonus is that the EU headlight lens has less of that "waffle" ripple that diffracts light so the light shines farther.

One head light with the cover and the other without. I think that the covers were about 3mm thick? Good for playing frisbee with as well.

Hey Timbo, thanks for that, looks great. A bit of added protection.

I ordered a seat cowl from Jack Lilley's last night Stampy. Looking forward to that too. I guess by the time VAT is taken off it should be a reasonable price.

This weather is pissing me off, not very conducive to riding (I know, harden up and get out there!! :hammer:  "> )

You're not wrong there. My dealer quoted NZ$470 for the seat cowl, and that may have been with 10% discount.

I believe I'll get it from Jack Lilley's (with VAT off), delivered for NZ$342. :-D
