Anyone got a picture of the new S3 with Triumphs tank bag.
Got one on order and wondered what it looked like installed.

This is a pic with extra luggage, but you can still see the tank bag.

I got my tank bag yesterday, along with the grab rail, and eyebrow fairing.
The grab rail should come with the bike in my opinion. It really is very handy to move the bike around and it holds my tail bag secure off the back of the bike.
Reluctant at first on the looks of the fairing, but it has grown on me. Guess it is a keeper.
The Tank bag is one serious piece of equipment. if you remove the bag, the bra remains on the tank. Now, I don't want to ride around with this big leather bra on the tank for normal use, but on a trip it would rock.

That one pictured is the big tank bag. There is also a small one. If I get a chance I'll take a pic of mine with the small one on. It also comes with a map sleeve that can be attached to hold a map flush with the tank.

I run my bike with the tank cover on all the time. Shoot me, but I like the look. It reminds me of the old cafe racers that had leather tank covers. I remember seeing a Vincent Black Shadow that had a leather cover on the tank. The only problem is the front clips need something to attach to.

Install is reletively simple. An adhesive Velcro strip attaches to the rearmost part of the tank hidden under the seat. There are two tabs that slide behind front of the plastics under the tank. The forward most allen bolt is removed, the tab slipped between and the bolt replaced. At the front, a strap goes from one side, under the frame and above the engine/exhaust to connect to the other side.

And, I agree on the grab rail sentiments. Great for wheeling the bike--it strong and the attachment is secure. It also makes a great place to throw my helmet.

Geof

I was looking to install the tank bag tonight Antmakka. Looks really straight forward and easy to take off or put on.
My instructions show leaving the front allen bolt in place and routing the straps under the head stock. Only allens being removed are the front side covers.
I am taking a small trip this weekend and plan to install friday night. I am changing my opinion on this bag and think it might be the ticket.

My picture (above) shows the tank bag fully expanded, packed to the rafters with clothes. We were on a touring holiday. When it's not
expanded it looks much more subtle.
I prefare the look of the tank without the cover, but as I need the
tank bag so much I just have to put up with it.

Yup. Pretty much. The two rear bolts are just enought of a bother that I leave the cover on most of the time. I take it off it gets wet.

But I need to ride with the bag most of the time 'cause I need somewhere to stash my cane.

Do you have a pic of that on your S3? It's hard to see what it looks like on the Twiste d Throttle site.
