Well lemme just say that my brain was overloaded at Devi's place this past weekend. That man has more knowledge about performance parts and engines than yer local library. As fer you fellers interested in the dyno results, here they are. 1st off, we put the bike back bone stock, exhaust, tune and all to have a baseline to work from.
out of 4 runs, we averaged the lowest 3(which were all within a half a horsepower) and came up with 110.31 HP and I can't remember the exact torque figure but it was between 67 and 68 ftlbs.
Next, we put the Zard slipon back on the stock header, and loaded the tune I had in the bike when I got there.
With that setup, she produced 119.34 HP and 73.44 ftlbs. of torque. Again, those #'s are averaged out of 3 consistent runs.
Then it was time for the Chain Reaction system.
Those suckers barely edged in front of my Zard pulling good solid #'s of 119.78 HP and right at 74 ftlbs. of torque.
Then it was time to swap out the header with a modified header(pre-cat removed and ported flanges), and did a little of fine tuning with the Zard. :-D Well, it wasn't long into this, the dang shops oxygen sensor went bad in their dyno, so we wasn't able to quite finish what we started, but I ended up leaving with 122.32 HP and 74.55 ftlbs. of torque.

Devious said he still had a few things he wanted to try, and would make those adjustments so I could try them out later.
So all in all, I had a f'n blast while I was there. Got to drive Devi's Lotus(man, that thang is fun, fun, fun!!!), got to take the Devi-cycle fer a spin, and got to do some riding with Devi and Hivel on Sat. The best part of the dang trip had to be the Barber Museum. That place was un-freak'n believable. If you've never seen it, it's a must. 5 stories of bike after bike after bike.
A few pics of me and the Bama boys... :hammer: :-D
I don't know who that feller is beside my bike being so rude. :hammer:
And remember I said 'dem Bama boys kinda scared me? This is the pic that kinda scared me and had scenes of Deliverance running thru my head... :hammer: :-D
I'll let you guess who's who, but one little hint... Hivel is the young one. :-D That feller's word ain't worth 2 cents. His famous words when jump'n on the bike is...
"I'll keep it under 100"
yeah right. :hammer: :-D
