Well I hit 24,000 miles this weekend on my 150mile Sunday ride and the machine still runs like champ.

I brought my old, small camera for the heck of it but only got motivated to get off the bike once and take a picture. I figured some of you might appreciate it.

For all of you who live in the NY/NJ region, the ride up into Harriman, Bear Mountain, West Point, and surrounding roads can be great. I've found myself riding up there quite a bit lately.

Love that bike. The original speed triple and the duc 916 are what drew me to motorcycling after growing up in a anti bike home.

Nice shot, congrats on the milesstone!

I've actually ridden little aside from the S3- a late 80's Suzuki GS500, a honda Rebel 250, and a Suzuki Intruder 1500. None are really on the same page as the S3- I'd like to hop on a new one and see the difference.

But yeah it runs great aside from the slight oil leak which has returned. I'll be needing a new rear tire w/in 2kmiles but dont' anticipate any other $$ maintenance on it this summer.

Hey teal,
It gets better! I've got almost 32k on my '01 & she's still nasty as she wants to be.

77,000 on a '00, still runs good, lost a little power though, might do an engine swap if I can find one cheap, very nice bike btw
