Hi all i am new to triumph bikes and have allways had sports bikes, bought a black 06 speed triple 1050 and have just bought the triumph race cans , now my local dealer wants £48 plus vat to remap them ,,, i have heard that people have had it done for as little as £20 .. so i dont realy want to pay £48 plus :???: anyone know of a place near nottingham thats cheaper thanks ..

total triumph in swindon charged me £26 + vat , basically its a half hour job,,, the place that my bike was pruchased from new was called WINDYCORNER in leeds. i have spoke to them once or twice and they really were helpfull give them a bell , id be interested to know how much they charge,,

put the triumph race cans on and OMG what a bloody difference ... its like going from a 600 to a 1000 ,,,,,
before , nail in 1st and 2nd and the front went light and skipped the tarmac as is left the road ,,, but now i cant nail it in 1st at all as it just ups the front and keeps it there till the red line :-D awesome machine ,,,, what can i expect from the remap ????

ile give windy a buzz cheers ,,,anyone had dealings with triumph world in chesterfield.

windy quoted £26 ish and triumph world £29 ish .. so i booked it for the weekend at triumph world as they are near my brothers house so can go for a visit too :-D

will it feel any different with the remap ???????????????????

only thing i notice atm is it ticks over slightly higher.

had it done at triumph world chesterfield today , it runs a lot smoother and dont tick over too high any more,,,,

butr i have lost the popping on the over-run

only cost £29 inc the vat .... so am a happy bunny.
