I thought I had given up on street bikes, but I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with an 07 S3 and fell in love. Was helping my old Chicago dealer with his Triumph demo weekend and took the S3 out leading and trailing about 5 times. What a freakin awesome bike. Fit like a glove. Great power, great handling and was an absolute hoot. It also was not bad on the highway - I guess the flyscreen will help.
He game me a great deal and I also found out you get $600 in free accessories if you buy before May 31. Did not pull the trigger as I already had one bike going home on the trailer -an 06 Husky TE610. Will most likely get it done this week.
The bike is white and I really like this color. I will add the belly pan, flyscreen and maybe cowl. I will leave the exhaust and other performance mods alone for now. I usually dump a ton on money into my Triumphs but I think I will leave this alone for a while until I get more comfortable with it. I really don't think I need to pump the motor as it has enough power to make me happy.
After owning 9 other Hinkley Triumphs I think this will be my favorite. Can't wait to ride it home!

yea dude, just do it, you wont have any regrets.
i wanted one of these bikes for over a year but kept talking myself out of getting it.
then they came out with the roulette green one, i drove 250 miles to see one in person(local dealers had none). then i just wanted it even more yet still was fighting the urge.
couple weeks later went to houston dealer to take a test ride, when i got back i signed papers and ordered a new green one. any regrets? HELL NO!
what a machine, seemless smooth power,a great well balanced chassis, strong brakes and looks to kill.

Hi tri, welcome (in anticipation) to the white club. I've got a flyscreen, think it makes a difference to the wind tho' I haven't tried it without.
A hugger is worth while too, keeps the road dirt off your rear shock area.
You'll have fun :-D :-D :-D :upthumb:

Do it, you won't regret it. Fly screen won't help any on the wind though. Deflects it right into your chest at best.

I really didn't think the wind blast was that bad when I rode on the highway. I will probably get the windscreen given that I have $600 in free accessories.
I informed the wife that a new bike is joining the stable. She said whatever makes me happy. Of course, she is spending about $40K to build a barn for a horse she doesn't ride, so I can pretty much get whatever I want right now.
Plan is to fly up there next week and ride it home - about 320 miles. I plan to stay off the highway as much as possible. Looking forward to the ride home.

Don't forget to keep it under 3500 RPMs for the first 100 miles! :hammer:

Hmm... the wind isn't bad until about 120. Skip the flyscreen and get something more practical, like the Arrow exhaust :-D
