I'm now speeding with a ZRX. It has plenty of bottom grunt and it's a very nice fellow. Accelerates enogh, even more than I need. But it's so, so common here...

Now one salesman here offered a good deal of changing to a new -06 Triple. Has someone here owned a ZRX before Speed Triple? And sorry for my bad english...I'm not a Triple driver...yet!

Had a zrx 1100, like it alot but wanted something that really handled and had a modern suspension.......couldn't be happier with the S3.

I had a ZRX1100, sold it 2 weeks ago and went with a triple.

ZRX has more pull down low, but S3 beats it after 7000 rpm or so.

S3 is a lot lighter, suspension feels better to me. Twisties are a blast on the triple. Fuel injection rocks!!! No more choke.

Triple looks way better (IMO). Everyone here rides either Japanese or HD. I like to be different.

I'm more than happy with the switch.

I had an a 99 and an 01 for 7 years. I never expected to like the Triple as much as I do. The Triple handles so much better and is really sweet with BST wheels. The Triple is just more fun, but the ZRX put many smiles on my face. They also have a great owners group. Great guys here too, I just dont have the time to get on the board anymore.

I had a test ride with -06 Triple. It really handles much better than my ZRX -06. Kawa is so retro, so retro and it's nice when old blokes ask in gas station's yard about Kawa's modelyear... " Just like new...Is it -84?"

But REALLY Triple handles much more exact on twisty roads. And the salesman's offer is rather good...

i had a 2001 ZRX and really liked the looks of the bike and the lazy way it delivered power but, it didn't like to go around twisty corners. I could never really get on with the handling of the ZRX on twisty sections of road. They are a great cruiser or touring bike but not much good when trying to keep up with the sports bikes.

I changed my ZRX for the Speed Four and have recently changed that for a Speed Triple! The Speed four handled like a dream following the ZRX but was a frantic little bike with gear changes happening all the time. The speed triple is the best of both worlds. Handles really well, feels lighter than the ZRX and goes like stink with very little effort :-D

I really don't think you'd be disappointed if you swapped the ZRX for a Triple

My mate just bought a ZRX1200. We're going to do various comparisons ie. off the line acceleration, top gear roll-on's, twisty stuff, etc. Should be interesting.
