I just got a Zard and cleaned up the tail with a fender eliminator. Infact, I eliminated everything so the bike is pretty clean in the back. However, I put the Liscense under the seat and was told by a cop - when I was pulled over - that it has to be moved up... he gave me a warning. I do not want it sticking out of the bike's booty so I was wondering where you have yours? any suggestions?

Just get a Mad Doctor kit or something else that actually looks nice, then you probably won't mind the license location. I have a swingarm license plate mount if you really want to be differet.

Find the letter of the law on license placement in your area. According to the law in Alberta my plate has to be on the rear fender... no fender on an S3-- unless you count the hugger! Hmmm, I may just have to buy a hugger and mount the plate to it under the tail.

I'd check the law. Most cops really don't know the bike laws very well.

Here in VA it has to be "visible from the rear of the bike" that's about as ambigious as they come.

Try to modify the stock one to hang the plate. I cut my tail and just did some fabing to get the look I was looking for.

Hopefully this will help.
