Went to the dealer today...first thing I see is the matt black Limited Edition. Fell in love instantly!
I've read in quite a few posts here that the 2008 line will have Brembos...but I seem to remember the Limited Edition having 'em. Did I dream that or is it so??

There's one left for sale in Stockholm.....should I get it? :-D

Since we can't and aren't going to get Matt Black here in US for quite some time... You should buy the bike and put it up for auction on eBay! You might make a killing.

I would have paid a premium to get the Matt Black version, and I am sure there others here in the States would do the same.

No point in being jealous... I have two black 07 Triumphs, S3 and D675. Though I sure would like a S3 in Matt Black (It's probably the fastest S3 yet!)

.......and the matt blackers have metal tanks! Is that a laudable thing? Aren't they heavier? I know you can stick magnetic but is that the only advantage?

I'll take that back...the 2007 LE does not have brembos.

I feel like the happiest man alive!!!
Picking it up a week from now!!

By complete accident I picked up some goodies while I was at it...will post pics as soon as I've laid my hands on it.

Guess I'll be hanging a lot more here now instead of just the classic forum...haven't really decided on what to do about the cafe racer yet.....nevermind! :-D

Lol, I bet all they did was take a bunch of older models that weren't selling (mostly yellow, lol) and repaint them flat black.

So, is that all the LE is, a different color? I didn't even know there was a LE.

I wouldn't pay any more for matte black than the $5 it would take to buy a can of Krylon and make your own.

Congrats, good choice! I also didn't know there was a Limited Edition, is it for Europe only?
