is my speedy sending a fax?

got the new bike today. wow, love it.

One strange thing I have noticed:

1) Turn off the key
2) wait 30 seconds
3) bike makes a sound like it's sending a fax (for about 5 seconds)


Anyone else get the same sound?

mine does the same thing.

That is the sound of pressure releasing on your fuel rail. All is good.

It is a sending a fax. ...make sure you use a cover sheet. :-D

It's the new Triumph Warranty Compliance fax. It sends info to Triumph every time you shut the bike down. Mileage, max rpm, and top speed. This info will be shared with your dealer if you have a questionable warranty claim.

my speed four makes those noises too.. sounds a bit like R2D2 is stuck under the tank! :-D
