They have a part online for the S3... haven't seen it discussed here. No pictures or specs on it other than it fits our bikes. I'd like to order all from them if possible.

Or a place that sales the purolator filter and the Mobil1 online?

Oil Filter Study / Comparison

Purolator Pure One PL14610 the big winner - that's what I use.
Get it at your local Pep Boys.

Or you can try the Mobil 4T oil that was designed and engineered to work with the Speed Triple Here at this Triumph Site.

I prefer the Pure One PL14612 because it is the same size as the Triumph filter. The PL14610 is 3/4 inch longer and hence is more vulnerable to damage. As long as you are doing normal maintenance intervals the size is not an issue, if you plug the PL14612 your engine has much bigger issues than an oil filter can solve. I have seen photos of S3's with the PL14610 all dented and scraped. If would be easy to punch a hole in one and then you are going to have big problems even if you can keep the rubber side down.

& that's exactly why I use it - larger filter means more filtration surface therefor better filtration & better flow.
The additional 3/4" creating vulnerability is just ridiculous - even the sump nut is lower than the base of the filter, let alone the headers which are a good 2" lower still!
If you're in the position of denting your filter you have much greater problems to worry about! :-D

Whodkne, do you have Advanced Auto Parts out there? they carry the Purolator brand. I use the 14612 too. I get my Red Line 15/50 fromAl Smith Automotive (Mail order)

They sell Amsoil as well.

PepBoys also carries this filter. I've bought many there for other bikes.
