I was also looking at the new tail bag from triumph, any idea how big it is? 30 litres isn't too bad, not sure if the triumph is bigger or smaller...anyone know?

Has anyone tried this in the US-40 configuration?

Don't like tank bags and have a 2 week trip coming up, wonder how it sits on the bike in this configuration.

Spent 1 month in Europe, (In July - August) riding 5000kms, on a KTM LC4, (Austria, Czech republic, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia) all i had was a 35L backpack bungeed on the rear of the seat, not very full either. So 40L would be heaps for me. and i Like the look of the Kriega, the fact it's waterproof and no need to bungee on also.

If any one has it setup like this, any pics?

Cheers

S

I bought a US-20 and US-10 about 3 months ago - is this a replacement? No matter, I love them. Used them for a weekend in Bristol, about 150 miles of mainly motorway riding. The bags were used in the US-30 configuration with the 10 on top of the 20 and were absolutely rock solid at speeds up to 110mph or so.
They look great, are completely waterproof and hold a good amount of kit (I had casual clothes with shoes, going out on the razz clothes with shoes, climbing kit and wash kit, plus a medium-sized camera).
I'm so impressed I plan on getting one of the rucksacks, but it seems my short back (never realised that until last weekend) means I have to have the R25 as the R35 won't fit (hip belt up under ribs, back of back catches on helmet). The guy showing me them said the R35 is usually a problem for people under 6' tall...

They're very helpful, and I'm certain they'd ship to the US. Get them; they're worth it!

I also have a US-20 and agree that it's a fantastic piece of kit. Build quality and materials used are top quality, i'm in the Military and the tailpack is built to much higher standards than most of our equipment (gotta love the Liabour Government). I use mine with the Triumph 20-30L tankbag and that gives me plenty of carrying capacity with almost no negative effects, i.e. handling.

Even with the cost of shipping to the U.S, you still get good value for money.

Kriega themselves will ship worldwide:

http://www.kriega.com/pages/order/or...pframeset.html

The US-20 would cost £15, the US-10 £5. Order online from the link above.

I've fancied one of these since they were recommended in Bike (I think) a while back, and had a chance to have a good look at the whole range down at the show last week. I was very impressed with the quality (10 year g'tee!?) and the modular nature of the system and also, as has been mentioned, the security of the fastenings on the demo bike. If they'd had a 'show price' I would have bought there and then, but it looks like a spring purchase for sure.
