I've done 2 tip overs in the last 2 weeks ? I'm starting to think I need to touch the ground better. Maybe I need to trade for a Speedmaster so I can TOUCH the ground good ?
I'm so pissed at myself  :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

Must be the thin air in Albuquerque - I had that problem several time when I lived there in late 80's!
But being 5'6" with a behemoth GSXR-1100 that weighed a gazillion pounds maybe was also part of the equation! :-D

Being too small on a bike is a better situation than us larger folk. I avoided all the japanese stuff because at 6'4 I just dont fit on the rice rockets. I didn't even look at their naked offerings because I would be a wannabe at that point. :-D

We seem to have three threads all running at once about this but I wore out my delete key the other night so I`ll just sit back and see where they go!

That sucks! I am overly careful, have only had one tip over in my life...on a test ride of a 96 Sprint...more embarrassing than anything...there is just NO WAY to look cool or graceful when dropping a bike.

Believe me, I tried to "tip with style" but ended up with a pulled groin...yipee.

My only bonk on my Triple was a tip over in the work parking lot. I thought the side stand was all the way down--it wasn't. :knkknk: Left mirror gnarfed, left turn signal lens busted, bar end scratched, very small dimple in the tank. :cuss: :brk:

Done that too. Learned the hard way you should NEVER talk with your pillion while getting off the bike: you may be distracted by the "are you sure it's this street?", "It's so hot! Why do you make me wear this jacket?", "Are you insane? Did you see that last curve?!".

Fortunately she landed on top of me so the only thing broken was my ego and a toe nail!

:-D
