Anyone have any experience of the Kustom KR10 radar system. I got caught (again) and need to get hold of a set of instructions or guidelines for use. I`m also keen to find out if there are any accuracy issues with the unit as I intend to fight the ticket. All help greatly appreciated.

Are things like that legal in the USA?

Thanks for the info, guys, especially the detailed PM mike! I got done for 123 in a 100 zone, which is 4 points and a $250 fine. Quiet empty country road, cop car coming towards us. Normally I wouldn`t have got a ticket, if you know what I mean, but the wife was following me on the Daytona and she made the decision, that we were going to do the right thing, pull over and wait for him to turn round and catch us up.

KR10 has been used for several years and is a low power KA band instant on radar. Just a little harder to detect. A good detector will generaly pick it up but to be effective needs to be shooting someone else and you pick up the stray rf. Sean

Likewise, when I pay this one I'll have 9 demerit points, at list 6 of them scored in the last 6 months (they last for 3 yrs). Hit 12 and I lose my licence (again, sigh)!
Hope you're better off than that Rob!
