Really quick....the manual says 6000 mi or 2 year, whichever comes first...my bike is an '04 and just now in the shop for the service. Should I follow the miles or year? Does it matter?

miles matters more than years BUT as bikes have a 2yr warranty you may want to get it in, keep everything in spec and get any niggling little warranty work done before it runs out. I guess I won't have that problem, 11000kms up and the bike will be 3months old next week :-D
