I see multiple threads recently of low battery condition. If your battery is already toast, no amount of charging will recover it. But for a battery that is in good shape, it is important to maintain it at a healthy charge level. Here are some products I personally use & can recommend to make that effortless.

I came across this adapter plug that fits in the accessory connector on the left of the bike

Get it directly from Powerlet Products - item is half-way down the page
PL/SAE cable - PAC-008 - note that they have different lengths available.

This can be used directly with a Battery Tender

I have the waterproof model (shown below) - seems like the perfect application for a bike, eve if you park it outdoors.
(But the aesthetics alone are just so much nicer than the regular BT Jnr.)

Even if you use a different brand of trickle charger, Powerlet has a bunch of other adapter/extenders that you can find to simply use the accessory plug - you can even buy a bare plug if you like.

I leave my Tender plugged next to where the bike is parked & then just plug it in - no seat/cowel removal or fishing for a pigtail dangling somewhere.

Best Price I've found anywhere for the BT is at MAWOnline - item # 50896 - $33.95

Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with Powerlet, Battery Tender or MAWOnline - just consumer recommendations for these products & services.

I got a solar one for the track car I rarely drive that sits in the driveway. It's a solar panel and either a cig plug adapter or clamps that go on the battery. It sits in the sun most of the day, so we'll see how it does. Battery was fully dead so I got a new one and installed last night.. hopefully it will help it keep a charge.

I do know the owner of this site.. but I don't get anythign if you buy from him. I buy all my batteries and chargers from them... I am hoping this works out.
