Well today I finally got a chance to get up with my dealer and ride a speed triple.
Man that was cool.
A little intimidating at first since everyone talks about how much juice these things have, but man I have to have one. Thanks for all the advice guys.
The question is, I haven't ridden all cramped up on a sporty before so if I get a lot of pressure on my right wrist would the bar relocator help me out? levers would have to get swapped out too.
I sat on the bike I bought and it felt more upright than the demo. I'm going to ride it as is for a few days then see what I need to do. I may just need a slightly different bend bar.
Yes, the first 200 were a killer on my wrists which surprised me. I adjusted the bars to a more "up" position (rotated them up) and moved the break and clutch around a bit and now no problems at all, very comfortable. From the factory, the bar is turned down a bit which put my wrists at a weird and painful angle...now all is well...
