Hey Guys....I haven't been on the forum in awhile....been SO busy at work. Hope all of you are well. :-D

I am posting a two-part question here for a buddy that recently bought a Speed Triple and he needs some feedback.

Issue 1: He is experiencing dripping oil that has stained the portion of exhaust directly under the right foot peg. He can't find any leaking seals and the dealer seems to think the draining is from the "breather tube" ???

Issue 2: He recently purchased a pair of bar risers which require a longer clutch and brake cable. Where can he find these?

Any help you guys can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

JOHN

Under the right peg I'd be more inclined to think brake fluid!

Welcome! Being a n00b myself I researched the same brake line issue. I found that the folks at CycleBrakes (http://www.cyclebrakes.com/) we're very helpful. They suggested a dual line setup for safety (he didn't like the thought of the brakes relying on the single caliper point of failure). On my call he said simply use their meauring guide to know what angle of ends to get and measure the distance with coax cable (give the same density as brake line) and they will have Galfer make the lines for you and send them out in a day or two.

You sure it's not a leaky filler cap seal? Nice to see ya again John! :-D
