It seems there are two different images out there for the 1050 grab handle:



Which I like the look of better. Then there is this t-shaped one:



They both seem the be the same part number. What gives here? Is one for pre-1050's?

The first one is the discontinued version and the T-bar is what you will get if you buy one.

Don't know why the design was changed pretty early on. Maybe the first one had a tendency to break?

Actually, I don't think they ever made the first one. I inquired quite a bit before having to install the fugly T-bar. I find it quite useful for manouvering the bike when off of it. My passenger on the other hand doesn't find it useful at all.

I also put a large hole in it and fabricated a luggage rack/camera rig that bolts on with a single big bolt.
