UPDATE: MY FIRST POST ON THIS BOARD & I MISTYPE THE SUBJECT LINE (S2?????!! Guess that's what I get for typing in the dark!! Mea Culpa

After a year of debate, I finally toook the plunge and will pick up my new '06 Speed Triple from the dealer this week. It's Fusion White with dealer installed Carbon Fiber Micron Slip-ons. I can't wait - I'm PSYCHED!!

3 things:
1) I'm new to this board - but I've been surfing over at the Twin Talk board about my Speedmaster for the last two years. I guess I just like bikes with "SPEED in their names. I thought I should say "Hi" and introduce myself... so, "Hi S3 Gang"!

2) Should I bother trying to get the stock exhausts from the dealer when I pick-up my new bike?

3) What's the over/under on how soon before I get my first ticket?
Thanks

Your poor Speedmaster.Get a really nice cover for it,and make sure to fire it up at least once a week.
Yes,get your stock exhaust from the dealer.
As for the ticket odds...good luck.

Enjoy your new S3.

Welcome. That's a nice pair to have - the Speedmaster for commuting and going to the grocery store, and the S3 (2?) for having lots of fun on the weekends. Congrats.

Welcome to the club! I would pick up that anchor too, why let the dealer have? And besides if something ever goes wrong you at least have a back up.

Thanks, Guys!

Hey - Jzlmeehan (Jason) I see you just sold your Bonnie twin. I'm sad to think that will be me next with my Speedy.

Also, now Il have to decide whether to make my next accessory purchase the OEM Triumph matching Gold Anodized "Fat" handlebars for the Triple or a dust cover for the Speedy. Decisions, decisions...

I assume with your new Triple you'll be coming to Hooter's in Wayne for bike night on Tuesdays?

If so, I'll see you there.
