...on an 05 or newer. I need a part that you took off. I need the rubber boot that covers the reed valve. I'm going to draw a CAD of it to make block off plates.

Why don't you use the ones you have on your bike? You should be able to remove one from the side and put it back without removing the tank.

Trace it on cardboard or something, if you need your bike back on the road fast.

Trace your own part, might not be perfect but CAD should able to clean it up.

It's not. It's hard plastic similar to kitchenware.
The part 1 on the pic is metal coated with rubber.

If I remember correctly the part 2 might not be the best template for blockoffs if a smooth fit to the cam cover is the aim. I think the plastic parts come over the camcover openings quite a bit and the fit was not that great to begin with.
