Hi everyone, finally got my first S3 (' 07 white). Had to wait 4 months but it was worth it. Have just started the breaking in process.
Already doing a bunch of grinning!

First impressions.......(after 10,000km on a Bonnie over the last year. ), sit up high, clunky gearbox (as expected) but fine, harder suspension, seem to be putting a lot of weight on my wrists against the handles, very smooth throttle, great brakes.

Overall, is a beautiful thing to behold.

I've just completed a trip 'round the South Island (of NZ) on the Bonnie and hope to do the same on the S3 next year.

Photo included, not a very good one, will add more later.

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :chug:

About time!! Now you need some bits and bobs, I think I told you before to bypass the local dealers for parts, I priced parts and accessories thru my local dealer and nearly had a heart attack So I signed up to the Jack Lilley web site and get all my bits thru them, Much cheaper and they come right to your door!! Nice ride Rifle, Get out and enjoy.

Welcome to the cult, er club. We can't tell you who to worship yet.
I went on a driving tour of both islands seven years ago with my family, in a Previa van BTW . I kept thinking it was such a great place for riding.

Thanks guys, sorry 'bout the lousy photo. I've got to figure out how to post better photos, any tips?

Stampy, I've already talked to Kath at Jack lilley about seat cowls, looks like it would be NZ$100 cheaper delivered to my door than the local offerings.

More :-D :-D :-D ing to do today!!

Cool, I priced the full Arrow system thru my dealer Fek'n $3,300, I priced it thru Kath Lilley $2100 delivered to my door. I don't know whats going on with our local dealers ( Yes I do, GREEED!! ) But if JL's can make a profit at $2100 just imagine what the locals are getting! It S.U.C.K.S. Big time!!

Good Luck, have fun, never let both wheels leave the ground at the same time, and welcome to the mad house.
