i think i will go ahead and add one of these to the stable. if there were any bike that would compete head to head with old speedy, it'd be this loyal champ. plus it's not nearly as popular as the triumph and i would not have to worry about everyone and their mother owning one.
the latest reviews are stating these baby's are putting down about 120 hp AT THE REAR WHEEL. very impressive for a v-twin. plus with a dry weight of merely 400 pounds, this thing is going to absolutely rip.
I used to have an S3. Totaled in an unfortunate event with a cager. I loved speedy but went in a different direction mostly because of look and to experience a different bike.
I a bought a MV Agusta 910s. The bike is unreal, the sound, the look (if you like Italian) unreal fast! It is a total race bike just naked. Much rarer than speedy, and you can still get 2006 at a relative bargain. Certainly less then the Super Duke ( although it is very cool and would like one if I could afford a stable for bikes)
The MV site site is not as entertaining, (although this site seem to be going through some changes) but there are many knowledgeable folks and a lot of real riders with lots of track experience. Take a look at these sites I think you will enjoy.
I understand it's supposed to be quite the machine, but it just doesn't push my buttons. I'd be more inclined toward the Tuono Factory (long as we're talkin' race bikes without fairings). Diff'rent strokes.
