Just wondering how difficult / costly would be to replace the 06’ ECU for the new, improved 07’ one. Does anyone have clue?

Dont think its worth the hassle and the money really.

Your bike might start a bit faster but why would you need that? You'll catch up with any fast starting riding buddy thinking he's the man in no time even if you'd take a lil 5 minute nap before going on the chase

It probably wouldn't be worth the money. I don't know what one of the computers costs for the newer bikes but I checked on one of the Sagem computers for my bike and it listed for $1700. That convinced me to find a spare on Ebay in a hurry just in case.

Get a Tuneboy and somebody to help you dump a tune from them on your bike and you will never miss the '07 version plus you can do a lot more than just what ever the 07 would do for u. Cheaper too!
