with the high-beams on, my pass trigger turns the headlights to low-beam. isn't it supposed to do the opposite?

i don't think there's a "higher" beam option yet.
just a toggle between the two, pending on what your currently in.

my '07 has a high-beam/low-beam switch and a "trigger" labeled "pass" on the left bar, yours doesn't? no tank, i'm not looking for a "higher-beam". i'm just wondering why this pass trigger only switches the high-beams ON instead of the other way aound.

It does work the other way around, you said that in your first message. I don't even have a S3 and from what I gather:
1. Hibeams on - Press pass trigger, low beams go on (only thing that could happen, aside from nothing at all)
2. Lowbeams on - Press pass trigger, hibeams go on (again, only option aisde from nothing)
What's the question?

Yea, I don't get what you're asking.....it's kind of self explanatory.
With that being said, on my Thruxton I believe that when in Low Beam and clicking PASS, the High Beam flashes.....but if you're already in High and click it, nothing happens. :???:

my question is,
if you have an S3...
While your highbeams are on (meaning the highbeam/lowbeam switch is set to highbeam) and you press the "pass" trigger, does it switch to lowbeam?
because mine doesn't, and was just wondering if this was common, even on the '07's.

ya.... my pass trigger doesnt switch from high to low..... only works to go from low to high. which is understandable seeing as its to get the attention of the guy youre following so he knows you'll be flying by him in a second.
