hey fellas.\
need some quick help. am about to paint the rad cowls,
and am wondering how do your get your hands in to disconnect the indicators???
surely you dont have to remove tank & airbox....

Easy way is to pull the connectors from inside the indicators.
Otherwise you have to pull the tank.

When you say inside the indicator, are you saying they can be disconnected once you unscrew it from the back, as if you were changing the bulb?? I just don't know where exactly to start pulling.

Yep, take off the lens, remove the bulb and reflector.

Behind this stuff you should see the small connectors on the wires.

These will pull off and pass inside the tubular part of the indicator and the shield.

Easy, even for a gumby like me. :tasty:

Mad Doctor, some here aren't impressed with the build quality.

I love the look, but might change it I had to ride in the rain a lot.

No problems yet [10 months]
