Well, throwing a fit and threatening the dealers profit-making capabilities may have paid off. On Friday, there were no oil coolers to be found; on Saturday (following irate phone calls and a trip to the dealer) Triumph has managed to produce an oil cooler. So, the dealer says my bike will be ready on Tuesday - 3 weeks after it was dropped off for a totally unrelated problem. Thanks for all your help guys and avoid any Triumph dealers north of Fulton County. Unless, of course, you are one of the special people who is able to squeeze customer service out of people who don't give a ***** about you once they have your money.

Great to hear it worked.

Thanks Devi - didn't I read somewhere that you're located in Alabama somewhere?

I know what you mean. I just moved from Atlanta and ATD didn't impress me very much. However, the Ratlantans are a good bunch and several ATD folks hang out with them, so you can try to get in good with some of the service techs and hopefully get the friend treatment. They hang out at the Prince of Wales in Midtown the first Wed. of every month.
