Does anyone on here have one of the 07`s with a metal tank? Or even seen one in a dealership? Or are they just on models destined for Brazil or Greenland or wherever?

No "search function nazis" please, I`ve already used it and apart from a link to the tuneboy site, I`ve come up with nothing of any real value.

My 06 Daytona is the First Triumph I`ve had with a metal tank, I`m just wondering if this is the way Triumph are going to go?

I don't think I like the idea of a metal tank. I've heard stories from Ducati guys about plugged tank vents, and their tanks kinking in overnight. Apparently, once that happens, the kink won't pop out.

These days, with the closed-loop vent system, I think I'd rather have Plastic.

I can't confirm the metal tanks but I would definitely prefer one. Three things: magnetic tank bags, more durable paint & larger capacity. If it is a direct replacement (ie the fuel pump, cap, etc. just bolt right across) I might even get one.

I feel the same way. A larger capacity would be nice.
