Read all about it.
Personally, I think it's kinda ugly (though not as bad as the Buell), the angular bodywork is gonna look as dated as an '80s hairstyle in a year or two, and I ain't ridin' around with something that says "DUKE" on the side. But it does look like fun.

I'm with ya on the not riding a bike that say, "Duke" on the side. It would kind of be like a riding a bike that say, "prison b*%ch" on the side.

Hey, I'll try anything twice.
The money, the lack of dealership that's nearby, and we dont know how often they break yet. (But then again, Triumph didn't exactly come riding over the hill to save everyone on their front brake issue)
I'd ride one for sure, but I'm still in love with the S3. So it doesn't compell me to switch.

I like it, just not $4K more than the S3's worth IMO.

I question the longevity of KTM too. I know Triumphs are good for 100k no problem, but KTMs... I don't know if Capt. Kirk would even venture there.

five years ago I owned a ktm640 supermoto and was promised the new duke the following year. In between then and now I purchased the s3. My ktm dealer called me and said my bike would be in this year in april. I have decided to keep the s3. The super duke would have been my choice five years ago, but the s3 has grown on me and maybe the last bike I purchase. Money isn't an issue, but when all said and done...the s3 fits my needs and exceeds them in many ways. Maybe I getting old but I still enjoy a mile long wheelie! I told the dealer to issue me a credit for my deposit. His reply was they never accepted the money. Some issues I have had with ktm are as follows: None. They are top notch bikes and I have owned 4 different models. Issues I have had with the triumph: None! First one I owned. Seems its a wash! Except ktm don't paint them eye popping green!

Thumbs down on the duke. Nice performer, wrong style. Perhaps if I had one of those Buells with the number plate I would think about trading it in...

Ive heard all the hype and everything and i just have to say that IS one UGLY bike.
Sure, im sure its going to be really good... But guess what, its as good as any other. But you get top components on that bike.
Definatly can't be seen riding that ugly thing. geez, what was ktm thinking!!
KTM also did the plastics on the ktm 950 supermoto to look dated within a few years, it just reeks of ****ty styling.
Ill keep my s3. It looks better
